I posted on the one that had no sound earlier because I read it. It must have been the Lord wanted me to read this out loud with my husband. We are having a very difficult year and struggling this year. No one in our house is getting any gifts this year. We usually send stuff to our kids but this year we can't do it, we have been financially strapped. We do bake cookies though & last night I was packing up some for our neighbors & my husband said "give them more" I grumbled & said "no, that's enough" we don't have much. Then he added "give them some of our honey (we have honey bees) & I grumbled again, saying "no," we don't have much. Then this morning this story came on & God heavily reminded me to give, give. I grumbled & laughed at the same time, cried with my husband after reading this & unable to get through it without taking a break. Got up off the sofa re packed the cookies we made & gave them honey from our bees and said "OK Lord, I know you're going to provide. Thank you so much for reminding me & giving me a good strong reminder and nudge this morning... God bless you all and Merry Christmas.

I was scammed recently. I couldn't believe it. Someone took advantage of my trusting nature. I didn't check twice. The Lord reminded me of how the Lord has taken care of me and my family all my life. He has provided for us in good times and had. So, listening to your story I realized that I had to forgive the scammer and leave the whole situation in the Lord's hands. He will take care of me and the situation. Merry Christmas. As we go through this season of change that's begun, I trust you can continue your posts, they are so helpful, reassuring and prayers always come to mind as I listen. Thank you. Dear Dutch… yes I cried remembering our town adopting my family for Christmas in 1952. I remember saying in my heart-that’s what I want to do when I grow up and God made it possible for me to do acts of kindness every year in His name Amen and Amen.
