Chris just ignore the naysayers. Music is great, your children are adorable! Your explanation was extremely clear and that was the point, right? I have had tarpworms on my corner tie outs for several years and find them reliable. I leave my zing it threaded through them and roll them into the tarp when I pack it up. I’ve debated keeping the line permanently attached to the stakes but waffle about that idea because of the bulk. Keep up the fine work.

how secure are the tarpworms? Do you think they would work to secure gaiter cords, or would they be too likely to come free? I don't mind if I have to tie an additional knot in this application, eg a clove hitch

+Forestwalker111 They should work well with 550 although the thread might be tight. I use bank line quite a bit because it has less stretch than 550. Cost I believe is 2.50 a piece. Not a bad price for titanium and convienience haha. Thanks for watching! Take care.

Brazillian Bully too me it just makes everything easier when it comes to adjustment and ease of setting everything up. Not a necessary item but a convenient one for sure.
