Man I'm still trying to figure out how to do a hybrid intake like yours. I've read many write ups on Nasioc about it but I'm still kind of confused. Where did you purchase your piping? I heard it's a 1998 Impreza RS intake that you have to cut? Also what are those two hoses going into it? About how much did yours cost?

Simon Bourque In regards to the bumper. it's not cheap or really viable for anyone do do on someone elses behalf. it requires both the factory bumper and the sti bumper be cut up and then moulding into one. For just the parts alone: 1x STi Front Bumper Cover Part#: 57704FG060 1x Fog lamp bezel Left Part#: 57731FG270 1x Fog lamp bezel Left Part#: 57731FG280 1x Bumper Vent Right Part#: 57739FG010 1x Bumper Vent Left Part#: 57739FG020 6x Holder- Fits Left/Right Part#: 57721FG000 plus factory donor bumper this list of parts is around $400 before any shipping. (shipping a bumper was about $250 from subaru genuine parts) then are the bodywork materials: +2 packages of Lord's Fusor 142 +1 Package of Lord's Fusor 114 + 6' of fibreglass Fusor reinforcing + Fusor gun + plastic welder + Dremel or pneumatic cut-off wheel + Dual Orbital sander + sandpaper (40 grit, 80 grit, 120, 400, 800) which is around $200 and then about 20+ hours of labour (with the help of 2 friends when I did mine) lastly is wrapping it (or paint) which can be a little or expensive as you want to do. So before factoring in my time, without paint/vinyl, not accounting for a donor 2.5i bumper/shipping, and then shipping of the final product that's around $900. Accounting for those things I would guess the cost to be 1500-2000 (YIKES!) as you can start to see this isn't a cheap venture

Hey dude, can I ask you real quick about the carbon fiber piece that joins to the logo and the logo? I own this car but it's dead stock and want to replicate some of the mods that you've done :) How did you get the piece to be carbon fiber (did you wrap it in 3m) how did you color the badge and how did you paint some of the metal parts, both cases for front and back

The front piece that holds the logo is 3M 1080 carbon wrap. the badge was removed and stripped, then recoloured. search on NASIOC theres a couple DIY's. and everything that is satin white on the exterior is vinyl wrapped in 3M's Satin white. :)

Just wondering duvanator, I drive a 2012 2.0i subaru impreza and I currently put on Rallisport UEL headers and got a custom 2.5 inch mandrel bent catback. My question is how loud was that magnaflow round muffler you put in compared to the obx muffler? Also would it make my exhaust loud if I replaced my oval magnaflow muffler with that round one you had?

the magna flow mad it quite a bit louder vs the rather large OBX muffler. the amour of "muffling" the muffler will do is entirely dependant on its size so the smaller it is the louder it will be in 90% of cases

Patrick Sullivan He has the stock 2.5i grille. He just took it out and unscrewed the "waffle part of the grille and replaced it with black mesh. I did the same mod on my Impreza and it looks amazing with the hella horns I installed behind it.

It's a DIY mesh grille. There are a hand full of good DIYs on NASIOC which I used for my general idea. It really is quite simple to do!

+TEETEE BIRD yes. If you take out the grille you'll see it disassembles into 3 pieces. So the honeycomb bars were cut out with a dremel

+TEETEE BIRD I cut out both the horizontal strips and all vertical. It's hard to explain in a way you'd understand without you having it disassembled infront of you. It really is simple once you take it apart and see how it went together :)

I think the gear bumper of the 2008 to 2010 fits on the Impreza non turbo 2008 to 2011
