Spot on. She's one of those rare gems of women that just fight for what they love, their individuality with hard work, dedication by actually trying to improve without belittling others, no matter the genders. Nikola Tesla mentioned that it is tragic that women stopped working together with men, instead they compete. Well it's not the case here. Mouton really respects her father and listened to him and his advice also was surrounded by many men and remained friendly. Same with many other "icons of feminism". They did not belittle men for simply being men.

@@DuxDrive (I am french perhaps my english is not very good) She is a woman who "explained" to men she was fast too. At first , they said IMPOSSIBLE to a woman to beat them. The results are here , a woman can win a WRC race (she won 4 races). She was second in WRC championship one year in the past. If she had no mecanic on a race problem she was champion this year. For sure, she was a top pilot at the moment.. Never , never a non professionnal pilot can say "I beat her because she is a woman" because the best pilots in the world had big problems to beat her. A woman can win in WRC , she prooved it.

@@Vorgaloth Absolutely yeah - for the latter part of the comment. As for the rest, all I can say is, thanks and you are welcomed! I am myself an F1 fanatic, in a way. Never watched Rally and was never really impressed by rallying to the extent some others are. Those "others" are not impressed by F1 as well. And all of that is okay. My point is, the sound of which you speak about - is even bigger point in F1 (i think you will agree) so I get what your point is and I cannot agree more of course. But yeah, I just couldn't find enough good quality footage with equal sound where I could combine them and the music I had in mind. SO in the end I was like, either this or that. And in the rush to publish it because I so much liked what I did, I forgot to erase to two or three footages where you can actually hear a sound - which lowered the music a bit. But yeah, learning from mistakes :D

Okay, she was a good driver, but there are many facts behind the win that nobody talk about Or hiding facts just to promote it or to state she was better than male drivers.Even she herself never mentioned it. Now if you want to know the truth then it’s here. **** At the Rallye Sanremo in Italy, a mixed surface event with tarmac and gravel, Mouton took the lead when the local star Michele Cinotto crashed and held off Henri Toivonen and Ari Vatanen to take the victory.This marked the first time a female driver had won a world championship event in rallying. Now you all got it. Go check if you doubt it. Also Audi just came up with 4 wheel drive car. The other guys were on two wheel drive cars and you now how hard it is for them to keep up with a four wheel drive car especially on corners. So speak facts.

Given chance to drive those cars, she often mentioned she is gonna crush male drivers girls can be better drivers when the car itself is made by males😅 and those specific car she was driving, was much better than those two wheel drive cars. I have seen her interviews and some comments she made about male drivers are like disrespecting them. That’s why, Walter Rohl and Ari had ego issues with her. But it became like they never wanted to lose to a female driver. She herself made ego issues. Watch some of the interviews and you will understand.I have nothing against her but some things cannot be tolerated. That was olden day feminism when men gave her all opportunities. Agree or disagree, I am gonna say the truth. ☺️

Franz - I'm not sure where you studied history? Perhaps we were commenting on different You Tube videos? I was looking at the piece posted by "Dux Drive" titled "Michelle Mouton - Wonder Woman". Where even in the opening sequence the reference is clearly to Michelle in the WRC and other events. As that section was filmed during scrutineering for the Lombard RAC Rally of Great Britain, a WRC round at the time. The World Rally Championship (WRC) has existed since at least 1977 with the first official Drivers Championship within that awarded to Bjorn Waldegard in 1979. What a pile of shite - in most of the footage it wasn't even Michele who was driving! At 1m 06 it was Stig Blomqvist in the 1984 San Remo Rally (which Michele did not compete in) and it is Stig Blomqvist again a few seconds later, either the same rally or at Acropolis 1984). Later in the 'tribute' it was mostly Walter Rohrl, Hannu Mikkola. Yes, Michele was in some clips but she deserves much better than this.

I am sorry to disappoint you but the specific footage you mentioned at 1:06 that is not San Remo '84 but '81 in which she did competed in and was actually her first Rally win and symbolically that is the reason it is included in the video as well. The same is the case for the rest of the footages used in the video. As I myself am not someone who very carefully followed, or at all, rallying, and I couldn't tell at first, I was very carefully checking the video footages I was choosing for this tribute for a character I really respect and admire, exactly for situations like these. So rest assured, it's Michelle Mouton in all of them. Thanks for viewing and I appreciate your effort to write.

Hey great content creator, please tell all facts . But one thing nobody mention is that she came closer to winning when she had the best car , all wheel drive Quattro and others were on rear wheel drive cars. The winner Walter Rohl was on a rear wheel drive ascona 400.That’s not a comparison. Audi Quattro was first all wheel drive in wrc and competing against all wheel drive with 2 wheel drive is not at all a thing to do. Even Michele herself never mentioned or admitted but she just got mad at guys. Even other manufactures came up with all wheel drive cars after Quattro in the following years but they were not good as Quattro, except Lancia which were made towards the end of Group B .,So after wining Some events in the best car ever why always try to downgrade other best drivers? If you don’t agree with my statement let me ask you one question, would you race against Subaru WRX STI with your Toyota Corolla even, or a Lincoln town car? And even if you do, after the race the Subaru driver can say hey look I am a female rally driver and I have won this race against other drivers .😂😂😂🙂. Pitty on Michele and whoever made this video without mentioning the real facts .

When a video is made in such a way , then you are not only admiring her but also neglecting and downgrading other drivers who were not given a chance to have good cars to compete even though they were efficient. This is my racing inspired channel however if you check my personal one, Dusko Avramovski you can find other videos I've done with all kinds of music that you might not like as well but they are very fitting for the subject. As in this case. It's a song of Queen. For a Queen and it's very adrenaline filled one as well. With lots of places where you can fill those action packed footages.
