I’m around, getting my game in order after the Achilles and foot issues I’ve had over the last year or so. When I thought I could come back, in February, I ended up injured again and it derailed me a bit. I’m getting closer though! New stuff will hopefully be coming sooner than later!

Just out of curiosity, I notice that do you with your slide foot what I also do because I’m almost bone on bone. Do you have the same problem? It’s so hard for me slide straight and be straight upon release.

No, I just have never been able to slide straight. But, I’ve never changed it, because that’s what feels comfortable. I see coaches change things all the time, just to change them because someone said, at some point, that was how it should be. I’ve always believed that ergonomically, you have to do what’s comfortable for you and your game.

Purchased this ball and have come to the conclusion that its a "no go" at the alley where I bowl. Like you said, way stronger than I thought it would be; get exhausted trying to keep this ball in play. Thanks for the review. Uh-oh I sense another Storm ball for the bag.

We shall see! You know I’m no storm fanboy, though. Something is definitely intriguing! This ball though, super strong. It’s tough on a house shot, unless you’re on a heavier one. I do really like it though!!

He’s just looking at what board he lays the ball down on (first time it hits the lane) the he looks at when the ball starts to head towards the pocket, that’s his breakpoint board

My verge pearl looks like it hits at 25 mph but I throw 14 to 17 mph. I really enjoy throwing DV8.

Thanks for the content I went and got a older ball recently punched the 900 global afterdark the black one and man everything you said about that ball holds true and i am a lefty and went with a very weak layout

That is one of the most underrated balls out there. It’ll control conditions where the ball is flying, and it absolutely crushes! Glad you like it!

Outside was flying that day. So, it would have had to move way left and with as much was in the middle, I’m not sure. I do like it from the left though. This is a good piece, just more suited to tournaments for me.

I keep this one at 3000, just break the laneshine with an old 2000 every once in a while. Ball is very benchmark-y and medium for me. I see more downlane motion from the Web Tour Hybrid. However, its so even front to back, it’s great on tougher stuff. I can control the pocket pretty well all the way up to 27-28 mils; more than that I need to throw something else. It’s a good ball, my coach shot 840- something on a challenge pattern. I haven’t seen scores like that out of mine, but then again I’m terrible at bowling.

This is definitely an interesting piece. I think for lower Rev bowlers, this thing is beastly as hell. All the Brunswick/DV8 guys in my main league can’t use it either. They’re all pretty high Rev guys too. Only works for most of them on tournament shots.

Hello my favorite video bowler. My name is Rich and I wrote you a few weeks back asking you if you were going to to a video on the DGV and did. You said a few things that I may differ from the review. First I’m a full roller that throws between 11-13mph. I also roll with the ball in a high friction house and have been averaging in the 2’s ever since I got the ball. I do agree that I can keep it in the oil 23 out to 10 even get some misses either outside 10 or 15 and flush the pocket. I have never had a ball as forgiving. I love the review but this is a almost can’t miss one. FYI only reason I haven’t thrown 300 is I’ve rapped every backwood pin somewhere in each game. But it has done the same increased the avg at least 15 pins. Go figure keep up the great job 👏

Awesome! This is a good ball, and I think for some people it will be absolutely perfect. For others, and typically more powerful players, this one will be hit or miss. For me, on tourney conditions it’s pretty solid. Heavier shots too. Typical house shots though, this isn’t one I can use, really.

Never late, 2 hours, always enjoy your videos’ never bias always the truth. Man this ball finish real well, I think just because a 226 game is not one of your best BUT I think this ball moves no matter we’re you stand. You hit 16 board, went to 10, but you hit the 14 board and the ball broke at 5 and WOW, dude this ball came back with power killed the pocket. I think this one makes the bag for We’d nights, the result is a damn good ball should always stays in the bag

Nice. However i think you saw a lot of snap in the back end because the ball on these shots in this video, is quite shiny. The out of box is much duller (in fact i scanned 2 of them out of box and they were both much lower than 1500), so others described as smooth because of that most probably. I did want to see it shiny though, so thanks !

That’s all from that game. I like a polished solid, always have. This one isn’t polished, however. That’s just oil from the lane and I rarely wipe the ball. Horrible, I know. I just don’t do it much.

Bowling XP ! I usually throw about 10-12 shots. I’m a baseball coach and instructor so it takes some times for my shoulder to loosen up, especially in this time of year. I never warm up with the ball I’m going to review though.

@@thefreeagentbowler4383 So the ball either has lane shine from the 14 games you previously threw it for, or was polished. Ok, got it. I think many solid balls become more skid-flip when shiny, but of course depends on cover and core as well.

I threw the Motiv Trident Horizon and it made my 44 ft shot look easy man. It's gonna be in the same boat as the Parallax Effect, so maybe you won't review it. It's damn good though. As for the VSP, you might be able to get the crack plugged before it spreads, Motiv logos and such start to separate and they go quick. Better be safe than sorry.
