You can also invite Swami Medhananda of Ramkrishna Mission, to speak on Vijnana Vedanta(how it is different from different shools of Vedanta like adwaita, vishistadwaita, dwaita etc.. )

The guest at this podcast completely floored me! I was aware of Madhavacharya, but had no idea of the extent of literature available on this Vaishnav tradition. Superb podcast. Great to know that the younger generation still is interested in digging deeper into Sanatana Dharma logic and philosophy
@Himanshu_KhicharАй бұрын
"Still interested"? I guess the enthusiasm in discovering and promoting Sanatan Dharma is more in the younger generation as older generations were more mentally colonized in general.

1:48:30 Dr Anusha missed adding to your very important point Mr Mukunda that Draupadi is essentially 5 Strees in 1 body, and the main controller is Bharati - consort of Vayu. Hence why Yudhishtira goes to her for understanding Dharma because she is essentially on the same level as Saraswati in the Taratamya. You will get to understand more on Draupadi if you read Madhvacharya's Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya.

1.07: sat & chit would be common for all jivas whereas ananda is a marker for mumukshus. Others dont exhibit the ananda attrivlbute. We should not confuse this(svaruupa ananda) to the laukika ananada obtained due to jaDa- deha.

Hope u find ways using social media to attract youngsters & others to come and view. The topics need to be reworded to make the viewer feel that this is structured around a story and some linkage & benefits within daily life. Many Shorts need to be made with benefits mentioned will get higher views and gradually to the full podcast. Such great information & knowledge that millions need but positioned reworded to show benefit. All sanskrit terms must be explained for the viewer as speaker & host are not the viewers.

At 1.02, Time in moksha becomes irrelevant. So one can say time does not exist. Mukta jivas are mukta to eternity and would never come back to SrishTi. So in a way time is not existing.

At 39.11Mukunda, you inverted inductive and deductive logic. Where anumAna rides on pratyaksha its invariably deductive - there is fire because of Smoke. Whereas when anumAna rides shabda, its inductive. Like - Vedas are pramAna by itself. One needs to prove the counter opposite i.e. vedas are not pramANa as wrong.

Acc to Madwa, each soul is different and distinct from the other 😂😂😂. This dwaita philosophy is a mockery of Vedic thought.

Could you elaborate about how is it mockery of Vedic thought?
@obscurealm Жыл бұрын
@@madhusimhabk8526 elaborate the knowledge of Brahman given in the Upanishads in a KZbin comment?. The thought process of the Upanishads takes time to understand and not understood by reading KZbin comments. All I can say is Advaita is the sublime knowledge of the vedas, and dwaita is something born out of abrahmaic influence that infiltrated Bharat in the middle ages.

2:00:40 Regarding changing traditions one has to remember that it was the same Lord Vishnu who showed in his Rama Avatara that upholding an Oath is paramount and breaking it would be as good as Death, while in his Krishna Avatara showed that one has to break Oath to uphold Dharma (when he picks up the chariot wheel to annihilate Bhishma). When God is himself showing that traditions that don't match with the Time has to be broken, who are we to still hold on to traditions that are obviously ridiculous in today's day and age?
@raghavrao76895 ай бұрын
Good excuse to selectively pick and choose incidents that suit one's own character and claim support from purana and shastras
@Shri5 ай бұрын
@@raghavrao7689 Claim what support? These are not "selectively picked and chosen". The entirety of Mahabharata is about people sticking to their Oaths and succumbing one by one to Adharma because they were unwilling to break their Oaths to protect Dharma. To the point where they were mute spectators to the disrobing of the Queen of Indraprastha. This is what happens when you stop using your brain and start becoming Dogmatic. It is only Lord Krishna, in the entire epic of Mahabharata, who shows that it is okay to break an Oath if it comes in the way of upholding Dharma. The kind of people who existed during Lord Rama's time did not exist in 28th Dwapara Yuga when Mahabharata happened. When the Pandavas were banished for 12 years + 1 year of anonymity did Dhritarashtra die of depression due to separation? No he did not. While in 23rd Treta Yuga, Dashratha could not bear the separation of Lord Rama. Did Dhritarashtra rule Hastinapur like how Bharata ruled Ayodhya when Rama was exiled? No he did not. Bharata kept Rama's footwear on the Throne and waited for his return. Dhritarashtra was ecstatic that Pandu imposed self-exile on himself on account of killing Rishi Kindama and his wife. You can literally draw direct parallels between both Epics and see how the response to tragic events were totally different in both. There is a clear deterioration of Dharma between both Yugas and that deterioration is becoming even more apparent now in Kali Yuga. Philosophical constructs don't change and are Eternal but Ritual constructs change over time. If not, we would still be sacrificing live animals in our Yajnas. Madhvacharya would not have stopped Pashu Bali and replaced it with offering Pishta Pashu if not for acknowledging that it is not required for this Yuga.
@raghavrao76895 ай бұрын
@@Shri Comparison between Dhritarashtra and Bharat need not be extrapolated as effect of decline of Dharma over yugas. You can just explain it as difference between two different people with different svabhava. I think the takeaway should be - do not make oaths that can hinder dharma rather than saying "who are we to still hold on to traditions that are obviously ridiculous in today's day and age'. Everyday is a new day. In this age, change in the outside world occurs much faster than in the past. One can easily be influenced by what we see on the outside. But, on the inside , Soul grows slowly. What I meant is that with such an outlook one can do away with both dharma and traditions/oaths etc...to justify one's own actions as per one's own character. That definitely should not be the takeaway from the scriptures.
