'Back' means not the true essence of G-d. 'Face' (Panim) in Hebrew also means 'inside'.

It's it meanig that we just see the past of God? Because God is always in front of us deling with things we can't understand

Good point! G-d does control the future ... but here it means even Moses could only see 'aspects' of G-d but not His essence.
