Think we missed you by a day. We were there last weekend. Stayed in Ocean view 4th floor, would be the mirror image of your room 2 doors down. Loved it. Great resort and will 100% be back.

I love Vero Beach. The smell, the friendly cast, the sea turtle theming and conservation. I know there’s “not much” to do and it’s not so large, but it’s quaint and I love it. I can almost smell it through the video. The only thing I’d like is more places to sit and enjoy the ocean view from the resort without going down to the beach, but I understand why for the sake of my beloved sea turtles there are not.

My husband and I took our second trip to Vero in February and stayed in an Ocean View room on the 3rd floor. It was absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to go back. Sleeping with the patio doors open, listening to the ocean rock you to sleep was so nice. Slept like a baby. Can't wait to go back.

The sea turtles are more numerous in July and August. They come ashore at night to lay eggs and when the little ones hatch it's also at night. We've sat on the Green Cabin balcony with binoculars and watched the adults in the water waiting to come ashore (pre covid you didn't have to be a guest to eat there or visit the store...hopefully they'll open back up for that soon). It's really important to obey the rules about the lights. The turtles use the light of the stars/moon to navigate to get on shore and get back to the ocean. Any man made lights totally screw up their navigation (and that of the hatchlings). Also, there's very hefty penalties for bothering them. You can find turtle walks that are authorized ...there's a turtle museum north of the resort that has info.

Great video and thanks for visiting Vero Beach, we miss it very much - it is one of our favourite DVC resorts - just for those interested in booking, the room in the video is an Oceanview Inn Room booking category, not a deluxe studio - the studios are in the other buildings (and may have views that include the ocean) in case someone is looking to book a guaranteed oceanview those are in the Inn

More Vero reviews, please. We've stayed in a one bedroom there and loved it. The layout is almost identical to OKW. Much larger than other DVC rooms.

Small college refrigerator. No dishwasher, no in-room washer and dryer. There are laundry facilities up on the forth-floor for people staying at the Inn. Great views, low points. Excellent access to the Green Cabin Room bar. The trade off is Smaller bathroom and inconvenient laundry facilities. Fair trade for me. Love it!

This room is an “Ocean View Inn Room,” not a studio. The Inn rooms, ocean view, or standard view are in the main building or Inn. I love the Inn rooms because they are fewer points. They are more like a typical hotel room than the lock-off half of a two-bedroom at other DVC resorts like Old Key West. I was staying in the standard view inn room at Disney’s Vero Beach this past week. I prefer the inn rooms at this resort. Thanks for the excellent report! °o°

And of course your comments about the dining options. Also is there a pool on property or is all swimming in the ocean? Love it so far and you have definitely put this on my radar for a future stay. Love it but that looks like it is an Ocean View INN Room not the studio. The configuration of the studio is slightly different and it contains a sofa bed not two queen sized beds. Additionally, because the studios are off to the sides of the DVC buildings, their ocean views are not "full frontal". Nonetheless, I loooovee these ocean view inn rooms with the direct ocean view. Definitely worth it.
