I'm a DVC member who has only been to Disneyworld, finally contemplating a trip to Disneyland next year. These rooms look very spacious! My home resort is Old Key West and usually stay in a one bedroom which is very large by Disney standards, so I appreciate the bigger space. I stayed in a studio at the Polynesian a couple years ago and was very disappointed how compact they were.

That transient tax is vicious. One thing love about DVC WDW is that feeling of it’s all paid. It almost fees free by the time our trip comes around.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. I'm sick and tired of being taxed for everything in general. We've already spent 10 of thousands of dollars to be DVC members. Why do we need to be subject to this tax???

Paul and Amy bring such delight as DVC Community Ambassadors. I've noticed that Aulani has a transient tax; the fee at Disneyland appears to be notably higher. I'm working on persuading my wife to embrace this additional cost instead of opting for a nearby Marriott or Hilton property. Your fantastic tour videos are genuinely appreciated - keep up the outstanding work!

Wow, those studio setups are nice! Wish they were at WDW. The studios in FL always make me feel separated from my family when I am at the microwave / coffee / sink station.

❤ Thank you so much for these videos! I hope you get the chance to relax and enjoy while you're there. Question: if you have time, please, can you find out if ALL preferred view rooms face east, toward the parks, and standard views face residential, to the west? I REALLY hope that's what they did, but I watched another channel's preferred studio tour and it had a lovely view of residential rooftops. Darn it. Looking forward to more videos of this special place! May your stay be filled with Pixie dust!

@@ginadisenchantedtalked to some cast members today and did the open house. It’s definitely a mixed bag. There are standard views on both sides and preferred views on both sides. Also weird, some duo studios have balconies and some don’t (preferred and standard). We saw a preferred one and two bedroom both facing the villas pool and our preferred view faces the resort/park. Some of the standard views are in the other part of the L shape and face only residential and mechanical areas while some face the villas pool. It’s definitely a mix which makes it a little confusing to guess what you might get. - Amy

@@DVCFan Thank you for going above and beyond! That info is sure confusing and kind of disappointing. I guess it will be trial and error before we all figure out which rooms to request. Hopefully Disney will help us figure it out. You two are appreciated!

Is there any place where the breakdown on number of preferred view vs standard view studios or duo studios is listed? I suspect they minimized the number of standard view rooms but it’s hard to tell and estimate how hard booking will be without numbers.

Amy, what room # was this? I'm hoping to request a similar view for an upcoming trip.

Very pretty rooms. This is what BLT rooms should aim for next round. But personally, I don't lament being restricted by my resale contracts from staying here. Super high points chart, transient tax and no balcony? Not for me. Even Riv Tower Studios have balconies.

Only sleeps 4? Booooo With all that space it's a shame that they didn't put in the twin fold down bed. Great video though Amy and Paul!

That Murphy bed should be outlawed by the Geneva convention. Its a device of unimaginable torture. No one over the age of 5 should sleep on it. I have slept on the ground outside in the winter without a tent and it was far more comfortable and softer than that bed. I own Disneyland hotel points so it pains me to say it but I don't recommend it. Stay in the Grand Ca if you can get it, the couch bed is way better.
