That’s weird! Was telling my son about major league the other day and was surprised by the cost and rarity of it. Major League 2 was good as well if I remember

Is ML hard to come by now then?

I’m going to have another search but wasn’t on any streaming and blu ray and DVD’s were around £20 plus when I looked.

There are copies on eBay for around half that.

I remember buying the Anchor Bay release of Last House in 2003 at - of all places - Woolworths. That led me to the David Hess trilogy and I ended up watching over a single weekend both Hitch-Hike (not a bad thriller, as I recall) and House on the Edge of the Park, which is now also passed uncut by the BBFC, which is hard to believe. Perhaps these films are getting dated now; they might have had more effect at the time.

I think many modern horrors are so gory that it’s diminished the power of the older ones
