Stevie is the best, I was at this show. This was my second time in Tokyo and I had front row tickets. This show was much longer and Stevie give the band a solo on Ribbons In The Sky, they which the timing, it was awesome!, actually recorded the show on two Maxwell cassette tapes, which I never made a copy of.I admire Stevie Wonder and would never hurt or trespass what he gives to the world.Love You Stevie!

That was a GREAT CONCERT💖 I use to joke that I would never be anyone's part-time lover when this song was very popular, not even Stevie's! That on the Bench Finale has me having second, third, fourth...thoughts:) So grateful that you shared this on your channel.

The male backup singers name is Keith John, he is the son of Little Willie John . He sill tours with Stevie Wonder til this day, although he had a health scare last year, he is doing pretty good now !

59:44 Part Time Lover, WTH? I hate that song THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!
@philippebernard45774 жыл бұрын
That's YOUR problem, buddy !! I must admit I've heard it too much on the radio, too, but the song in itself is just show, years later, it's a 'classic' of that time. And more; it's a new 'style' in Stevie's work !... "Land of la la", from the same album, sounds a little like that too, some kind of pop/soul sound, but I can't see no other exemple. Who can be "hating" a song just because his composer tried something new, and different ?! What a pity...

Part time lover is great song, to say Stevie was experimenting on the new 80s style. He completely slayed this song which is why it’s a complete classic and treasure.
