could you please make a video on why you put your main bass and sub on the same track like that?

i would assume so the MIDI pattern is matched between the bass (which is really more of a mid/high sound) and the sub

A separate sub is only necessary if it's following a different pattern to your bass sounds, otherwise you can just use the direct sub from whatever patch you're using and just highpass the rest as extra layers
