You have to try an Audi or vdub some day. I’m in my second one. It’s a blast. I suggest a mk7 golf R or a ttrs/rs3 for the 5 cylinder/Audi heritage experience. That 2.5 5 cylinder makes more power than it should. It’s magic. An evo 8 is on my bucket list. Thanks for all the evo content over the years. It’s been an inspiration.

These are pain in the ass cars to work on, millions of vacuum lines and misc. hoses for emissions. Ex EDM 2001 TT driver here. Now I have an JDM 2003 Evo 8. The Evo needs totally 2 vacuum lines for boost control and 1 more for the MAP sensor as I upgraded to a Link ECU. 2 oil breather lines, one on the intake manifold and 1 on a catch tank I installed. It's way easier to work on the car, more engine space with just the bare minimum (it's a street rally car basically) few clips and screws takes the bumper off, then you can pretty much replace/upgrade all water/oil cooling components yourself with a jack and a couple of jack stands.
