The composition was not written as a celebration of the kingdom, but as a reaction to the turbulent world and mainly as a longing for home (Czechoslovakia). The composer Dvořák was not paid for the composition (he received a bad check):-(

I'm used to Václav Neumann's version with Czech philharmony, this is so fast and agressive... I quite like it.
