Although, it matters not if he flashed, the effect is the goal here and flashing is only a frustration to another magician but to laymen it is not, good performance, specifically Tony Chang’s in this video WHICH IS PHENOMENAL, is the only thing necessary for a good effect that flashes. Show this exact same video to some random dude in the street at this time, 2021, they’d say this is edited or some CGI or ANYTHING of the like and wont go “AH THAT CARD THING WENT OVER-“ whatever.
