Have you tried using phase? Be interesting to see you dona set with that..I like DVS but the noise from the timecode is annoying.. phase will make it silent..

Hey, no I never used them before, I actually wanted to get a set but then I just got used to the timecode vinyls and they do the job. Yeah the timecode noise is definitely annoying and its something I didn't expect at the beginning myself

Pretty much as close as it gets in my opinion, but of course vinyl is still king. Only complaint really would be the timecode noise when playing the timecode vinyls

@@yungrazr yeah I've asked that of a few people because I hear it's one of the major complaints. How loud is it? Is it audible at a reasonable level of volume? It's the last hurdle in me making the jump lol

Yeah it's a high pitched whine which is quite noticeable even with speakers on a fairly loud volume. Depends what stylus you're using as well, some of them are louder than others. I think I got used to it after a bit though and also a lot of the times I just mixed using headphones only so yea
