Hi David love your videos - extremely helpful! I’m sorry to comment here but can’t seem to comment on the relevant videos (comments turned off) - I have set up a Hikvision system with Code entry, Swipe card sensor, etc.. at my front gate and passage door. When i enter the passcode it opens the lock on the passage door but not the gate but the swipe card only opens the actually gate (not the passage door). Is there any way to have the passcode open the gate (not the passage door)? Ive tried everything but cant seem to get it working. I was hoping to allow cars to enter the property via the gate with passcode rather than a swipe card. Any advice or pointers would be very appreciated. Cheers.

evidence manager needs a lot more work. Need...Video redaction capability. Need to mark videos as evidence and the type of evidence such as.. Felony or misdemeanor. Auto delete files after X time if not marked as evidence. Nice features are.. Facial recognition linked to camera, seperate cables for each storage bin. Although the cables certainly need to be longer or self retracting. Keep in mind. The users of these devices are not known to be easy on this type of equipment .
