Today’s video is all about deep vein thrombosis (DVT) for Nursing Students and NCLEX Review.
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a deep vein. If a DVT blocks blood flow to parts of the leg muscle, it can cause leg or arm swelling and pain in the leg, as well as difficulty walking.
A pulmonary embolism (PE) is another type of blood clot, but in one of the deep veins of the lungs. This can be life-threatening because it blocks the flow of oxygenated blood from reaching all areas of the lungs.
Watch to learn more about nursing interventions and pathophysiology of DVT.

Surprised you said nothing about blood thinners. I was diagnosed with a dvt (large) in my right calf and thigh plus a PE in my lung. This was 3 weeks ago. So far the only treatment I have had is Eliquis twice a day,

That’s interesting I’m currently learning about it & anticoagulants don’t break down the clots or eliminate it. It essentially just stops the production of new clot formation! I hope you are well !

Note. In the artery, an atherosclerotic cholesterol plaque is located around the perimeter of the vessel. Long, soft, elastic. This is not an atherosclerotic cholesterol plaque. it's just a cholesterol plaque. it is inside the vessel and can be easily removed from the vessel. This cholesterol plaque has no description in the medical literature. It depends on the spasm of the vessel. Formed in just 1 week of a strong nervous experience. It is not associated with smoking, eating fatty foods. This cholesterol plaque has not been studied. She is to blame for the occurrence of acute heart attacks and strokes in just one week of stress.

Thank you very much. I had a large blood clot under my knee in an artery, the size of a large grape. The doctor prescribed pills, I drank them, but the general condition was very bad, I could not step on my foot, and I had no strength at all, I even spoke with difficulty, I just lay there. It was so bad that I thought it was all over. Cellular nutrition helped me, I began to take it, and after the first intake, strength appeared, it is easier to speak. A week later, an ultrasound scan showed that the thrombus had resolved, although the doctor warned us that you should adjust for 3 months not earlier. I am sure that it was due to the cellular nutrition that the thrombus was so quickly resolved, it turns out that cellular nutrition thins the blood and improves the quality of the blood. A month later, blood tests were normal👌😁
