Cale Hooker - The Best of Hoosky

From a tall, skinny kid who couldn’t catch Franklin to a Best & Fairest Winning, All Australian, 200-Game player, there haven’t been too many others who’ve bled red & black like Cale Hooker!
An amazing warrior for the Essendon Football Club, Hooker began his career as a wonderful marking defender, who in later years was switched into attack to become a very effective goal kicker. And whenever you needed a match-winning goal, he’s the one you wanted to have lining up.
A victim of the era in which he played, Cale unfortunately enjoyed very little team success as a Bomber, but his grit, determination and passion for the club endeared him to Essendon supporters all around the country for over a decade across his 219 games. So please enjoy this tribute to his career and join me in wishing him the very best in his retirement. Thanks Hooksy, take a bow!

One of the most reliable defenders going and handy up forward especially in clutch moments. Going miss Hooker been an excellent player for Essendon and also a very loyal player.
