As a man, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the man of men. He is at the top of the top. Such a huge inspiration. Such a role model and figure to aspire to be like. I met him back in 2002 at a local gym in Denver while he was the biggest heel in the WWF (at the time). I did not like his character AT ALL because Stone Cold Steve Austin was my guy. But I’ll never forgot how charismatic and kind he was. The man without a doubt is a legend.

"But no, fame is a blessing" This is what makes Dwayne special amongst celebrities. He understands that it's a privilege to have a wide outreach, to have a voice that people listen to. All the "downsides" you always hear famous people complain about are inconsequential when compared to what you can achieve and do for the world with fame.

Totally agree. There really should be a number of outlets that just look at random people, totally random, and show them and their stories with the world. Everyone has a story and almost everyones main few stories are incredible. A channel or company that could pull that out of anyone would be a game changer. I would love to hear this exact kind of video but with people at random.

@@Amir-yx1pb If they do not object, yes. It's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission when it comes to things like that. It's not that bad. People aren't usually that soft that they can't tolerate a personal question like that. But it's different for everyone. If they don't wanna answer, they don't have to answer. There isn't much more to it than that really.

It's such an interesting balance this VF series walks, a virtual knife's edge - that space between uneasy vulnerability when being asked something private or emotionally touching; and balancing that with an environment n' space that is warm, inviting n' open enough to engender honesty in all the answers! Dwayne's natural warmth n' forthrightness plays in this format so well.

I love the format of this video. The slow zoom is so evocative, and ties in with the personal nature of the questions. Really good

It brings me soo much joy to see someone like Dwayne in the position he’s in as a African American -Samoan and being able to put forth such great combinations of our culture. He is the epitome of success, love and inspiration. As a kid I had no one to look up to in Hollywood as I to was African American and Samoan and since a kid I always enjoyed his development into becoming who he’s always been.I love you Rock and thank you for inspiring me and pushing forth our beautiful cultures into the worlds view.I love you and thank you for making a difference and taking your fame and using it for good, you are a true legend and I appreciate you.fa’afetai lava alofa atu my uso🤙🏽

How amazing is he's been a source of entertainment for 23 years, I still remember those fights against Mick Foley and Steve Austin, he probably has thousand of reason to hate the whole entertainment industry but he works harder to be better at it staying positive and also inspire others through his journey.
