DWC Cleaning Info

Just a super quick explanation on how I clean a DWC bucket (not a how to) and why you want to. It's just a quick info piece.
Cleaning your DWC buckets is self explanatory, and takes just a few minutes to do a fast rinse. Your measuring and balancing your nutes afterwards takes the most time. But it's beneficial!

Does the temporary bucket that’s used to hold plant while cleaning does that bucket need to have air stone running or will it be fine in tap water while cleaning

how easy is it to drain that way of flipping the tube upside down? is there any left over? im thinking of scroging and i wont be able to move the bucket much once we get deep into it all.

I use a transfer pump. You can use the tube for draining, but depending on how high up you've placed it, that much would be left in the bucket. Plus, when you SCROG, you'll be limited on your movement. This is what I use and it saves SOOO much time!!! amzn.to/2Gwh6Vw

What happens in flower if you have the plant in scrog

That's why I'm not gonna use a net next time. I like to take my plants out, once every 2 weeks, wipe buckets and just rinse. My last grow, suffered some root problems. I think due to not being able to clean for 8 weeks! Not sure. But. I could barely pick up to look at roots. But couldn't get out.... net is great though!

That's exactly my problem I'm in week 3 of flower. I think I'm going to remove the scrog net so I can check the roots out and change the buckets. Thinking about finding a new way
