2 looks better than 3, also a couple of observations below. 1. DWC logo in my view has no issues, looks good and should be continued. 2. I prefer the look without the date complication. 3. Prefer the lume on the 2. 4. A good jublee strap with the silver version would be great.

Also, the display caseback and the tall arabic numerals on vayu 2 is better, as the weird landscape embossing on the vayu 3 caseback looks childish imo

Sabki apni choice hai but mujhe yeh vayu 2 se bhi badiya lagi bhai ....aapka point for strap choice is correct but for point of date window I think kabhi dekha nahi koi brand date window apni choice k hisab se model nikalte , agar patriotism ko side mein bhi dekhe toh bhi value for money watch hai as per quality material , finish or movement used .. love u bhai always..

Like DWC apple ke jese kare to achha rahega. Strap & watch alag pack me de to jinhe jo strap chahiye vo choose kar le. (Not selling separately but Apple Watch ke jese watch ke & strap ke box ko user ki preference se combine karke diya jaye) Negative points : Isse shipment time increase hoga, strap me hinge deni padegi jisse user attach kar sake. Positive point: user ko apni se feel aayegi kyu ki usene khu de strap lagaya hai. Strap dusari watches me bhi use ho sakte hai jese 20mm me agar kisi ko existing watch strap pasand ho to bo buy karega. Eg: agar kisi ko vayu vala strap pasand nahi hai use Havelock ka pasand hai to bo buy ke time par hi vo choose karega & company ka stap ka business bhi chalega. (Like now unki income sirf new watch release pe hoti hai strap se stable side income bhi hogi.) Ek step aage aaje to case back me bhi ye ho sakta hai but usme unhe order vise back lagana padega.(separate pieces se achha hai kyu ki ss case ke jyada order aaye to vo laga sakte hai not 50-50 )

Not even a single model is available for purchase on their website, so the only choice the buyers would have is to wait until August 10 to try their luck on the “ Golden Arrows Vayu” (whether they like it or not !). I’m one of those who prefer a date window on Analog watches.

@@sathishrao7926 Sir, DWC being a microbrand, they have production limitations and all their watches were well accepted by the buyers since Vayu 2.0 and quickly sold out. Unfortunately even Vayu 3.0 will also be available only for few days till stock lasts. DWC is trying their best to make more number of watches as Vayu will be batch of 4000 divided into two lots and expected to last longer as available to order on website.

I waited for almost 7-8 months for 2.0 and I am disappointed with 3.0 design lunguage, especially the exibition back missing and hour indices font. I hope they make availability for the 2.0 soon.

Date window slightly affecting the look atleast a black colour date window could have made it better looking. It's not a deal breaker but If you can confirm if the next batch coming without it then we can wait otherwise we'll go for this.

@@chourasiaamarjeet you already called out the difference correctly. Design language is different , I would prefer the vayu just because, I have more than 3 divers in my collection.. and I don't have a pilot watch. Another reason for me is the dial size. 38 mm is small for me hence I prefer the 40mm vayu. I also felt readability is better in Vayu than Havelock.. hence my preference is getting Vayu From a water resistance perspective, 100 mm is enough for people like us unless you are going to take it in the sea. If you do not have any divers in the collection( you should get one). you can go for Havelock if you like the design. if not then get some other in future. I have personally handled Havelock as I got it purchased for a friend. (As the pricing is great + lume is great+ Havelock connection is great+ tested for diving as well) So if you have to get only one, prepare as to what you are looking for in the watch.. in terms of 1) design 2) specs 3) emotional connection Hope this helps

While I am not a strap fan, I agree on that as well but I am happy with this strap Lume , vayu 2 definitely looks better. I erall.. great review. This would help many buyers While this batch of 2000 is complete, I hope they don't give a new internation for the next batch Eg: they can launch new models in ,daily diver, field and chrono rather than launching Everest, Vayu, havelock.. Eg: Boddery has landmaster and voyager. Which looks same and with minute change they changed the series. Zelos also does the same. Launching under same series with new design may disappoint the folks with older version or vice versa if the older version was better

@@chourasiaamarjeet unless you are someone who occasionally dive deep into the sea, do you really need 200m WR - it's something you can think about. For swimming, recreational diving that we do in Goa or Andaman - 100m WR is enough - so 200m WR as number may or may not matter in real world. Second, if your wrist is 6.5" and above, you can comfortably wear 40mm dial of Vayu, but if thats not the case better go with 38mm dial in Havelock. Vayu has always been my personal favourite and I said that many a times in my earlier videos - I simply love the matt black dial, lumed indices and markers, IAF flag symbol on dial and in 3.0 every element that you see on dial tells a patriotic story. To me, it's a collectable watch for sure. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

That's because Vayu 2.0 was monochromatic with simple design.. which was versatile Now it has many colors , white, golden red, black glossy logo etc Adding date window was not not designed backwards but it was more from adding a feature.. hence it screws the symmetry. Earlier font was inspired t from dirty dozen(Similar to IwC). Now it's more block type Hence you feel that the design is off.. I am usually a specific feature fan .. so these changes work for me. Infact having a ghosted date was a problem for me..
