Titan probably makes it in house. I doubt DWC make it inhouse, they probably source it from China, the japanese movement is also manufactured in China. But I have to admit Titan has very little imagination when it comes to designing their watches

My honest opinion/feedback - this video definitely feels different than your usual ones. The style, the tonality etc feel off. If there ever was a sponsored video on your channel, this definitely felt like one. For ex, that casual remark that if one's patriotic then he/she should have this in one's collection.. He is also not honest about watch lume quality and duration , I just received this watch today , the lume is not that strong and also the duration is not too long . Delhi watch company has itself set a good benchmark for lume through havelock and event Everest 2.0 . But this watch takes a big hit in this department also there is some inconsistency on the numbers marking , specially on 2 & 4

BTW ⚠️This Limited edition Gimmick might hamper the growth of DWC in longer term. Because agar Limited edition hi rahegi to 3rd Party Manufacturer iske parts (Like Dedicated Caseback [for modification purposes], strap or glass) banyenge hi kyu!, Agar watch mae kuch malfunction or break(instead of movement) ho jaye to phir Normal consumer ka to headache ho jayega! I'm eagerly exited for this Watch but these above things keeps rolling in my mind. Hope they will do some justice in the unboxing experience like they did earlier with the Havelock watch.

Now coming to watch i wish the color of the dial was sky blue color like in the IAF flag instead of black. Black is also good no issues. Case is bit thick but it got to be. The pointer of seconds hand looks like flying jet and the IAF symbol is perfectly placed size could have been little big. Will come to know exactly once the watch is in hand. Japanese Movement NH35a is perfect selection. Lume is perfect. Hats of to dwc the passion with which they made this watch and the materials used is top notch and above all is the price point is perfect. I urge dwc to make tribute watches to legends Kishore kumar Lata Mangeshkar Sir M Visvesvaraya and many more . Jai Jawan Jai Kissan 🇮🇳

Like Vayu 2, vayu 3 is impressive and a batch of 4000 also ensures that people get it. Loved the approach for the last 3 releases. This gives a good touch and attached more history to this Indian micro brand. This is a definite buy for me, unless you are giving away 😂😂 Dwc is taking right and bold steps . But if they wanna be a top Indian brand they would have to bring innovative approaches and designs. Relaunching every year may not be the way to go Eg: they are bringing a new design of Havelock next year. While it sounds cool, they might wanna give it a new name and design altogether Similar for Everest and vayu!! Inspiration taken one create a lot of value but repeating the same strategy may not be good for long term. new stories ,new designs will take this brand to new hieghts

Actually seasoned collectors prefers solid case with meaningful embossment like this one, DWC is releasing this as a collector's edition. And NH35 is not a decorated movement - I like solid embossed caseback in this case.

Sourav da appreciate your review, but here I would like to list out everything that is wrong with Vayu 3.0 Design: As a watch enthusiast and UX design expert, whenever we release version update... I believe we should make design changes to make things attractive... but honestly this design makes this watch less attractive that its previous version. Why? 1. In a pilot watch you should add the crown like onion or pilot onion type crown like german pilot watches 2. Dial is matt, fine for a watch at 5-6k, but for 8k watch either sunburst/enamel glossy dial and in this pilot/field type watch dial should be textured (like boderry voyager) 3. Yellow marks are not going well... all should have been white, if you compare with 2.0 many would agree 4. This watch because of the sec hand, looks like hmt commando and the logo is useless and ruining the aesthetic of the watch The only selling point of this watch is patriotism... I appreciate their effort in that... but honestly apart from that I don't see anything in this watch to pay 8300.. DWC had pretty impressive designs earlier... but now a days they are not doing well in this area.

1) Not all Fliegers employ Onion crowns. There are many iconic Fliegers such as the IWC Mark XVIII that use regular crowns. 2) Matte dials of a dark colour are essential in a pilot’s watch for easy readability. Agree about the part of selling patriotism.

The point I want to make is that, I appreciate pilot watch vive... but in reality when I am paying 8k I expect something better.... I want the look definitely but I am not buying this to fly... and onion crown would make the look better, as this is called version 3.0 so expected som of these design improvements if not all... otherwise it does not make any sense to name 3.0

Also, what you intend to do with a watch is impertinent to what it’s designed for (unless you are ordering a one-off). Anyway no point pursuing this. Enjoy your watches.
