Includes the famous Andante cantabile slow movement which has appeared in various other formats including for string orchestra, but the rest is very appealing as well.

Indeed it is. My parents had it on a LP selection which theyvplayed in the 70s. It was the only string quartet in their record collection. To me it possessed an unrivalled beauty.

Jawohl, dieses musik ist sehr schön. Hertzliche grüssen aus Schweden! Fullhearted greetings from Sweden. Hjärtliga hälsningar från Sverige! Specially the second movement Andante Cantabile stands out as the most adorable piece of music.

so beautiful. The movement is almost just what I imagine Tchaikovsky would like to have. The cello piz should have its own speed to express different from violin even lead them in the section.

Overall very convincing interpretation that I liked listening to. Great energy and joint phrasing. But cutting out obvious wrong notes at 8:40 of first violin is pretty weird. Mistakes happen and don't do harm to a generally good performance. But trying to mask them in such an obvious way looks (and sounds) pretty awkward.
