SubhanAllah very beneficial episode!! I can’t wait for the next one - as a youth not only did I learn how to become a better child to my mother but I’m hoping i’a to reflect on my bad habits I do when I get angry and try to avoid that as much as possible. May Allah swt forgive us all & I learned how important emotional support is… if Allah swt destines for me to reach the age of having children inshAllah I hope to use the idea of sitting and talking everyday because your children will create this deeper bond with you that whatever does happen in their life.. they’ll come to you as a safe space 🥹

إِذۡ قَالَ یُوسُفُ لِأَبِیهِ یَـٰۤأَبَتِ إِنِّی رَأَیۡتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوۡكَبࣰا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ رَأَیۡتُهُمۡ لِی سَـٰجِدِینَ﴿ ٤ ﴾ • Sahih International: [Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father,[[The prophet Jacob (upon whom be peace).]] O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me. Yūsuf, Ayah 4 قَالَ یَـٰبُنَیَّ لَا تَقۡصُصۡ رُءۡیَاكَ عَلَىٰۤ إِخۡوَتِكَ فَیَكِیدُوا۟ لَكَ كَیۡدًاۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ﴿ ٥ ﴾ • Sahih International: He said, O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy. Yūsuf, Ayah 5 وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَجۡتَبِیكَ رَبُّكَ وَیُعَلِّمُكَ مِن تَأۡوِیلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِیثِ وَیُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكَ وَعَلَىٰۤ ءَالِ یَعۡقُوبَ كَمَاۤ أَتَمَّهَا عَلَىٰۤ أَبَوَیۡكَ مِن قَبۡلُ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ وَإِسۡحَـٰقَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمࣱ﴿ ٦ ﴾ • Sahih International: And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives [i.e., events or dreams] and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise. Yūsuf, Ayah 6

I haven't seen him say he supports haraam behaviour. But he does try to help guide the sinners as they need guidance too. Ultimately, guidance comes from Allah but humans should encourage one another to truth and goodness
