Dr. Mark Jenkins is also the euphonium professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia (just outside of Washington DC). If you're looking into majoring in music or hoping to get a graduate degree, I can't recommend him highly enough. Superb!

I’ve never understood the purpose of an uninteresting cadenza played at the beginning of a solo that has so much scope for virtuosity. I have to say I don’t like this version. Florid bit curiously bland. The playing is ok, I guess, if you’ve not heard Lyndon Baglin or David Childs or most extravagantly, Robert Childs.
