Putting on a clown persona is what intelligent people do when they try to run away from something or just want to cheer up people around them. Joker is the best example of the first one. For those who think Michael is not scary when angry and has authority this video proves it... Stanley even stopped looking at his crossword puzzle and started looking at his computer... Also the episode where Stanley disrespect Michael and he tells everyone to get out... Pam didn't even manage to grab her glasses. And the episede where Holly wanted to have a meeting and no one listened... He started yelling and Jim's face said it all...
