Dwight got injured and couldn't live up to Kobe's demands and left so Kobe called him soft. Being from SoCal, the majority of Lakers fans actually don't blame Dwight because they knew Kobe's time was up. It's pretty much the hardcore Kobe fans, like you'll see in the comments of every Dwight video, that blame Dwight for not helping Kobe get 1 more championship.

Dwight Howard could've been the most dominating defensive force in the paint the league has ever seen, but he was too caught up in trying to be an offensive player. With his athleticism and strength he should've averaged 18 boards and 5 blocks per season and he could've done that easily. Probably the most athletic big to ever play in the NBA.
