I’d argue quite the opposite. Progressives in Korea have deep ties with North Korea, and the current president’s refusal to turn a blind eye while taking decisive action is bound to cause some unease. It’s worth considering what the president might have uncovered during the martial law period. Why would the leftist party be so desperate to arrest him? It's a declaration with those who want to paralyze the functioning of the state. Is it overthrowing by communism? It's a system fight over defending free humanism. Most young people are not interested in politics. It's true that I was surprised at first by the martial law, but I realized the seriousness of the situation, and the public opinion that it was valid turned around, and my approval rating has become similar to that of the opposition party. The reason is that a total of 24 major actions in violation of the legislative dictatorship law by the opposition party have been made zero with no agreement between the ruling and opposition parties to impeach the president and the opposition party. The most important reason is the Election Commission. It rejected the evidence of video and photos of many irregularities and found that the server management system was also hacked, but strongly denied it as a constitutional institution to prevent illegal investigations under martial law. Not really. That is the Presidential Security detail equivalent to the Secret Service in the USA. They don't answer to the prosecutor or judges. As long as someone is the President, they have to protect that person.
