While the German government sadly sticks with Israel and weirdly doesn't publicly refute such claims, it was recently, I think it was only last month, discovered that they in fact barely sent anything of relevance to Israel since April after sales indeed surged at the end of last year. Give me a break. It is under UN charter that the occuyping power has to allow Humanitarian aid in the territories. It was not a "favor and goodwill" of Israel. They have been trying to get rid of UNRWA for decades now. Banning UNRWA is absolutely in violation of International Law and "her borders" do not include Palestinian territories as the Occupation has already been deemed by ICJ as illegal and needs to be dismantled immediately. Gaza is small piece of land where flying drones control every move, where border checks restrict even medical equipment to be brought to, where they send military troops and bomb regurally just to keep the level of despair. There is no free movement of people in and out of Gaza everyone needs to be approved by Israel. To keep operations at some reasonable level UNRWA established in Israel to have political and organisational communication with controlling body.
