I was in Vienna this summer, went to the sissi museum but was disappointed to find out that most of the objects on display were replicas. Other than that I had a pretty good time

For me, Sisi is too extravagant, perhaps like a bit Maria Antoinette..most people lived in poverty, and the monarch never didnt care.. But l love so much that beautifull palace, inside it n the both modern + ancient buildings in Austria that shown in this video.. Definitely the European buildings

Why are people still treating emperalism like it was a fairytale about kings and queens??? Do you learn history at schools at all? Or just watching glamourised to the max movies about those "great"monarchs?? I hope you do understand what was a price for this riches

People are interested in the lives of kings and queens, and that's fine. One's opinion on the nature of the Austro-Hungarian Empire has nothing to do with being interested in the life of one of its empresses. You, on the other hand, just want to feel superior to others.
