Eierlikör isn't similar to eggnog. Eierlikör is called Advocaat in English. It has much more alcohol than eggnog. Eggnog is called Eierpunsch in German.

Yesterday, I visited Dresden Christmas Market. There 200 ml Glühwein costs only 4 Euros .

8,50 for a Lebkuchen? Holy shmeckles. But it looked great tho. You really only should go there for food. The "Handmade" stands are just a ripoff with stuff you can get literally in the shopping centre 5 meters next to it for about 33% of the price.

I think that the smaller towns Christmas markets are more intimate and friendly compared to tourist destinations like Berlin and Koeln, but I've also been to Christmas markets in Copenhagen and Switzerland
