I was at the Marienplatz Christkindlmarkt on December 4/5 this year and the place was covered in snow. I have to think it warmed up considerably following my visit, as there’s not a speck of snow seen anywhere. It was just the right touch for a Christmas Market.

A&K are great. Nate and Kara are a couple of airheads who tried to bilk their followers. They built up a following with their goal of going to a certain number of countries. Then, when they got to their final one, they would only show it to people who paid. Then, when people called them out on it, Nate took pictures of Kara crying and posted them. Such disgusting behavior. Don't wish them on A&K.

Greetings from Hamburg. So nice to see how much you enjoyed the festive season here in Germany. We've got at least 17 official Christmas markets here in Hamburg. With one even on the 'infamous' Reeperbahn, with a quite risque theme to it. I do hope you give the north of Germany a chance to shine as well. No matter, I wish you a great tour through Europe. IIRC I saw Finland on your itinerary. I do hope you are really lucky and get to see the northern lights there. That's one thing on my personal bucket list. Hi Guys...if you ever going to visit a Weihnachts/Christmas-Markt eat the Bratwurst with Mustard (not Ketchup) and the Currywurst with FrenchFries. The Kartoffelpuffer/Reibekuchen with the traditional Applesauce. I was kind of surprised they sell it with Sauerkraut, (?) never seen that before. Anf try the Mushrooms with Garlic Sauce. The Fruit Chocolate Skewers. White and red Glühwein. Enjoy! :)

We are staying in a few hotels along the way. In Munich we stayed at a Holiday Inn. We got the IHG card for this trip and it has helped immensely! I wonder whether you went to Tollwood as well. It takes place on the Theresienwiese (where Oktoberfest takes place) and it is my favorite Christmas Market in Munich because it offers more experiences besides the usual stalls like a concert tent, market tent and international food tent.

My wife and I watched your video and it was so much fun to watch. We travel to Germany often and we love the Christmas Markets. Unfortunately, I visit Germany more than my wife due to work schedules but we take the whole family on occasion:). The food had my tongue slapping my brain (as a friend of mine says , lol. I'm in the middle of making lebkuchen (made the dough, now it has to chill overnight)- you didn't taste it, but I did see several signs for it. Going to the Christmas markets is a dream of mine too. Hopefully someday I'll get there...
