Dear users, as some of you have already noticed, we made a mistake in this video. The 3rd photo does not show Bruges but Ghent. We apologize for this!

I was there several years ago and I can say - Yes! it's worth to visit! absolutely fabulous city! where are not any cities look like Brugge. Nither Venice, no Amsterdam!!!

I've been there last year. It is overcrowded. I would visit Ghent instead.

Bruges was a great week's stay about 20 years ago and I don't believe that it has deteriorated much since then. The Annual City Procession Day made it even better but there are enough Medieval Buildings, Churches and Museums to fill several days enjoyable sightseeing. Plus there are several opportunities for interesting excursions outside the city.

Spent 3 days there last year….It IS every bit as beautiful as it is shown… we went in late September and it was not crowded…found a nice hotel inside the city with no reservations. Just a really beautiful place… but WALK AROUND THE CITY . The waffels were disappointing….the waffeler explained that Belgian waffles in the US are not genuine but are lightened and sweetened….. they were good but rather dense….needed all the toppings.

True, Bruges is so beautiful, I have been there last July but the canals were unpleasant stingy while taking photos.

Calling Brugge 'Bruges' is an insult to Flemish people.

Bruges in Belgium - How Picturesque is This City Really? 1404pm 5.1.25 never been to blegium. i merely waited at the dockside so we could then be allowed to travel to the ferry port. more Flemish than Netherlands, perhaps?

Belgium and the Netherlands are two different, but neighbouring countries !!

@JJONNYREPP 🙄 Just read your OP = my response to you was about THAT !! Belgium is a sovereign country, same as the Netherlands !! Nothing to do with "which people" are living there !! Btw, the "Frisians" were and are living in the Netherlands/West Frisia, and Germany/east Frisia, Frisia = Federal State of Lower-Saxony, and north Frisia/Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein ONLY...

Why Europe have no high buildings.
@Thomaat988 күн бұрын
Because people have taste here. Rather have human scale beauty than generic high-rise.

Those buildings are 600 years old...only churches were high buildings ...
