This season was so fun to watch. Donald Driver is amazing--his focus is incredible. I guess he just puts his heart and soul into everything. Science should study him, to see how a kid who had EVERY odd stacked against him could excel in life like this. And he was able to recognize the importance of love--willing to give up his bad habits for his wife. His mom did something right! Love Peta, too!

I think it was the second week when I recognized that Peta had taken on the persona of a coach. She got that Donald was a fierce competitor and when she challenged him with a hard routine and he had some doubts about whether or not he could do it, she asked him if he wanted to give up. His response, "I'm not a quitter!' After that, there was nothing that he couldn't do. I also want to add that Peta is one fierce competitor as well. She is tough, "No time for bandages" tough.

I think so, too. And I remember when Len, after unfairly underscoring Mya for most of the season, went into the studio with Dmitry and Mya to help them with their Paso. It really did help. Len usually knows what he's doing. Though I wish he'd be more fair in the future along and along throughout the entire season.

MrReed314, I thought Peta smiled a lot in their Quickstep and in their Viennese Waltz in Week 7, too. Never thought about the other dances, but did you really think she had a stiff, concentrated look?

I'll say this, It looks like Peta really had a great time dancing it. Except for the trio Jive, she didn't have the stiff concentrated look that she had all season..This time it was all smiles and a lot about having kick-ass fun.

Yes, it is sad. Especially since Donald does moves that no one else can do. But, it's changing and the fact that he got a 30 for freestyle, which was THE dance of the night...nothing compared to it...shows that justice can be served. Now if only he would win because he brings dance competition to a higher level, like Michael Jordan did for basketball in '90s and early 2000. Even Peta who seems really competitive had to say what an honor it is 2 work with someone like Donald. Enough said.

You may have a point. But Mya was technically brilliant in her Argentine Tango. And Dmitry's choreography was good. Btw, Mya's graceful, not "mechanical!" :-)

I don´t know about that. Look at Donald´s face the last few dances when they face the judges for the comments. It´s like the hopeful face of a little kid looking for praise.
