Stay out of the sun and eat well, and you reduce your chances of skin cancer. If you get skin cancer, keep your immune system strong by eating really well and exercising and staying away from all bad substances including prescription meds. Witney is great to tell her story like this -- it will help a lot of people.

I only wish that was the size of my scar. I have a 6 inch scar right down the center of my back from having spinal fusion done 13yrs ago (at 21 as well). I have never been self conscious about it though. She is a gorgeous girl and should never have to feel ashamed of her scar. I also have burns all over most of my back, hips and around my upper thighs from a skin condition. But I will fully admit that I do know how she feels bc that, I am very self conscious about due to how obvious it is.
