And I was like 11 when save a prayer was the best thing I ever heard and then planet earth, girls on film, new moon on monday, wild boys, the reflex, new religion, the chuffeur (I know its not well written) A view to a kill, the union of the snake, and the best of all Duran Duran for me HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF. Yes after that they made Ordinary world That is beautiful and I love it with my hear but it is not save a prayer.... Love you people

My band used to cover this song during my high school days. I played bass back then. All we had for keyboards was a Roland SH-101, but it sounded quite decent. Watching this definitely put me on a trip down memory lane. You did an awesome job. Cheers!

More or less the same. Moving the bender lever changes the pitch of the notes, up or down. (Not sure if you can bend them down with the guitar levers, I am not a guitar man :)

I was really into synth back in the 80’ and 90’s. My friend at the time had a cover band and played this song. He had the Roland JX-8P like the one played in this video. I am 99.99999% sure that’s the synth Nick Rhodes/Duran Duran used for this song. Those are exactly the same presets! I also think Tears for Fears used it for “Memories Fade” (and probably many other songs). Such a great synth and a spectacular performance in this video! Spot on!
