The pre-recorded voice is a take I did in 2006 (late at night almost whispering to a Shure SM58). As I found it curious I decided to include this take into the video.
Also, I improved the previous DX7 take, replacing it with the JP8000.

Seems like the 80s artists were far more creative with the "old" synth technology of the day. I suppose creativity has been replaced by technlogy so advanced that there's less need to be creative.......we therefore don't get anything that is as iconic as this song..... Great cover by the way !!

Good way of putting it. Either that or they were just excited by the possibilities with this new venue. An artist may have all the tools in their possession, but if they aren’t inspired, if they’re bored with what they have..they fail to birth a progeny of the muse.
