I hate programming but the results pay off in the end. I have a Kurzweil K2500X with the same piano sound and it's great.

I once had a K2500 rack. I wondered if it had the same piano samples. The 1000 PX Plus has the same samples as the K250. So it's surprising that Kurzweil used the samples for so long.

The K2500R and X has the same sounds. That particular piano sound dates back to the K250 in 1984 and even the other piano sound in Kurzweil's up to the Forte dates from the 90's. Both piano sounds are on hundreds of records.
