Going Dutch means everyone pays their own......Dutch was a movie with Ed O'Neil , famous actor from Married with Children. Dutching means betting in more than one outcome. Dutch was the 4th United States' president's nickname.

This isn't guaranteed, but with the legs in vehicle mode, because they always pop out when you untab the side parts, the simple solution is to just file the tab down.

Yellow pigment by it's nature is difficult. They're likely either laying it on really thick, simply using multiple coats, putting down another color as a primer, or some combination of those.

You know when you see a figure you know is not great but you still like it. I know the tolerance issues and the one-piece crotch skirt are big strike against this figure, but I still like it.

In the final stand you have the pelvis flap jutting out forward a bit, I'm not sure if you've noticed it too, but it almost looks like he has an ab-crunch.

Yknow, ignoring the tolerance issues, the entire transformation is fantastic as well as the figures design itself. Were hasbro just to take this design and edit the hips to swivel while making it larger, it’d be a hot seller for G1 fans for sure, much more than the earthrise or kingdom versions tbh

I've picked up a few DX9 releases, this year - Gabriel and the legends dinobots. I think DX9 are the very best when it comes to intelligent transformations - different enough to be interesting; not so different that they fail to feel authentic and simple enough to not be a chore. However, everything I've bought from them has terrifyingly tight tolerances. I was always planning on choosing mech planet for my prime - DX9's has weird truck mode proportions - but I was thinking of picking up DX9's nemesis prime (the single colour masks the weirdness of the truck cab, at least, in my opinion) or maybe even their white prime so it's encouraging that they are addressing the tolerances for me.

Nice enough Prime (plus light piping and translucent chest panels looks great) although the truck mode looks very 'gappy'. That being said, transformation is nice and not finicky like Newage AND you're getting a nice Prime 'and' his trailer for only about 50 bucks which is a bargain.

I've never been a fan of Primes using a "Feaugh Chest" as opposed to, using the real windows for the real chest. Other than that, not gonna lie, looks decent, to be fair. Looks like something I'd go in, on. All good in the books.

Bobby I have a question. In all the videos of Vulcan, the Dino mode was never put next to somebody in robot mode. Like no one put dino grimlock next to Optimus in his robot mode. I was wondering if you still have Vulcan can you put him next to a voyager or deluxe. I want him but I don’t know how he’ll scale for my collection. Yeah Bobby's review is on the money. This figure's legs are terrible, mine even split at the hip where the blue part plugs in making it hard to pose so to speak. I'm really disappointed. On the plus side though, that head sculpt IS on point. I hope the new age bumblebee isn't as much of a let down

All the flaws and issues aside, these DX9 War In Pocket figures are damn impressive for their scale! There are some very good thoughts that went into this figure, but they're very poorly executed. I've seen bigger figures done alot worse that this, with far lesser attention to the engineering. Just a tiny bit of more love had gone a long way with these. Its the tollerance issues that are the down fall for the most part, and thats not too impossible to fix. It should have been taken care of quite a while ago, because DX9 have released a good amount of figures so far.

1 piece hip skirts need to die now, they ruin the look of a figure, especially here where everything else look great.

I can only go off pics but I reckon they could have split it into 2 halves and pinned it, seems like there is more than enough depth in the skirt to support it. still not perfect but would allow for individual movement at least, which would be more than enough for a legends figure.
