MMC's figures are making me want to get another combiner, but I want to wait until all 5 figures are out since I've had to many combiners I've started that almost never got finished. Its hard to be excited when you don't know if it will get done. I must say FT Menasor has really left me jaded about combiners. MoonStudio Raiden I said was the last combiner I'd get, but I'm very interested in Magic Square Bruticus and MMCs Defensor as I don't have any representation of those in my collection outside of Generation Toys versions.

My figure of the year is the missing link Optimus prime the toy version. It was so good and I find myself looking at it and messing with it so much that it made me buy the MP44S to have as a companion piece to show the differences on how far the figure has come but with the same aesthetic. I keep looking at all the new stuff I bought this year and I think the missing link was probably the best one so far for me

5:54 ...but their MP scale Optimus Prime 2.0 (Light of Peace) exists, and that's an upscale of their Legends scale Optimus Prime 2.0 (Light of Victory). 15:23 Idk about the intimidating part, but they absosmurfinlutely made Long Haul look cool. Maybe moreso than what NewAge & Magic Square did.

Been a while Uncle Skullface, been out of the loop because of life and work. So 3rd party is still a thing I see, since your still chugging along. Has the 3rd party pool gotten better? I think I tapped out in 21 or 22. Gonna have to find one of your sitdown videos and see if the collection around the table has changed.

Fanstoys Scourge is your #2 best? I got him after hokding a preorder for about 3 years and it is a good figure nut nothing really outstanding compared to other Fanstoys releases. Maybe if they'd gotten the wings to be the right shape it could have belonged on a top 5 list. Or if the backpack wasnt such a mess. As it is, I'm happy to have it over XTB's Scourge but overall I found the figure to be "fine" and not "great."

Glad to see the Mech Invasion duo and SS86 OP on here, they're both making my top 10 and top 5 respectively. I'm still flip-flopping between the ss86 figure being number one or Newage's DotM Megs. If you do end up reviewing it later down the line, pleasepleaseplease use something like Emgo's JTI... it's a surprisingly well-designed transformation but the included instructions do NOT do it any favors.

my top 3 of the year are FT scourge, all of the IF liokaiser so far, and FT magnus. FT magnus has quickly become my favorite figure (besides FT cyclonus), I LOVE the white inner prime, the proportions and presence are perfect

I’m going to throw this out there not sure if you took a look at it but the Newage Duel (Another DoTM Megatron) is amazing! I grew up with the bayverse and that figure is the most expensive figure I own and it is absolutely amazing. If you have the chance to review it you should!

Oh, man. I had completely forgotten about the Wonderful Trans figure. That's how disappointing it was to me. I was so impressed that a figure that stylized could transform that I had to buy it... Turns out, there's a reason it seemed impossible. It was. I tried to transform it ONE time, and that was ENOUGH.

I couldn't disagree more with some of your choices this year, I actually like the Wonderful-Trans WT02 Sky Atlas, I know they took the bot mode design from Flame Toys (it seems that was what got to you the most and I get it I normally don't go for KOs too but in this case they made it transform so... when you think about it almost all the Transforming action figure companies are getting the designs from somewhere be it a cartoon a comic or a game) and the transformation is not an easy one but the build quality, the materials, the articulation and the fact it can transform from a great looking very well articulated bot mode to a very good alt mode did it for me. I also like the MS Swindle, I get why you don´t like it since you don't like cartoon accurate transformers, as you yourself said so many times, but apart from the side skirts I think it's a very good TF action figure. I also can't understand what you like so much about that Mechanical Skull Studio Sirius, there are so many other Legends scaled figures released by NA and MS that in my opinion are so much better. Please don't take this the wrong way we're all entitled to our choices and I know this is your personal choices.

I didnt score too badly this year. Most years the 'most disappointing' and 'worst' are a list of my purchases for the year, but this year I have only two in 'disappointing' and none in the other categories. I would have scored better if I wasnt waiting for the toy versions of the MMC Protectobots. My worst TF of 2024 is very easy; Transform and Roll Out Cybertron Prime, first release. Just posing it resulted in it shedding limbs and fingers across the floor. Terrible, terrible release, and I am not sure if the second release being better makes it worse or better.....
