I just got one in the mail today and it's not yellowed at all. Maybe it's a difference in the plastic from one production run to another, or maybe a difference between Bandai Japan and Bandai Asia?

I wish mine wasnt yellowed to death like yours I hate the white plastic bandai uses You know who uses good white plastic that doesnt yellow so fast? Tomy Most of the rescue fire toys i have dont have a trace of yellowing on them

Mine isn't yellowed, so either the Bandai Asia release fixed it or they changed the plastic some time in the production run. Interestingly, the yellowing of the plastic makes it look like more traditional sushi with fermented rice. But is really annoying for a collector, obviously. EDIT: Correction, it has to do with the paint that was used. Even though it's cast in a very nice glossy shade of white plastic already, they painted over the whole thing anyway.
