People are upset over Jack's lyrics, and I don't see the problem. If you actually read them, it looks to me like he's saying he USED to be that way, but he's different now, and seems to me he's just acknowledging that lots of guys AND girls go through that "phase" in life, and he's owning the fact that the past him is still a part of him - there's no denying it - but he's not that guy anymore.
