Good tip for the chromecast. I tried screen mirroring and Airplay and it was crap. It kept disconnecting. I was also upset that the projector only connects to 2Ghz Wifi instead of the 5ghz. Overall, I was really disappointed with this but I’ll give it one more chance with Chromecast.

I tried a few of these projectors and the casting / mirroring / airplay never really works. The only thing you really need a a good USB media player and this has it. Then use a cromecast or fire stick and you have a great combo. projector is bright and has a great picture!

I am having trouble as well connecting with Netflix I was able to connect KZbin but that also took forever I am using wifi with screen mirroring idk how to use all these other cables it came what am I supposed to connect them too ??? 😮 I also have a Mac but can’t figure out how to connect it that either . Help

Hi! Between 201 and 201S, one has 7500 LM, the other has 8000. Is it a big difference? Do you know if they have other differences? Don't know much about electronics so I would appreciate to have someone's advice, and you seem to know all about it! All I want is something easy to use, to watch dvds or videos through my phone for example, cos I don't have a tv screen. Thank you! :)

Trying to use this and there’s only a few videos on KZbin that will play and the rest take forever to load then won’t play with the error “something went wrong”. Both are connected to same WiFi. My phone sees the projector on Bluetooth and my phone (iPhone) does recognize it as well and screen mirroring. I’ve been reading that AirPlay doesn’t work well with steaming on KZbin. Do I need to DL a new app just to watch some videos through the projector? Thanks 🙏

I would use a fire stick in the hdmi the built in apps are not so good the projector itself is great for the price

@@keenanjeff thanks for responding. Honestly as crazy as this sounds I’m using it for my cats. I just put on bird videos for them to watch and they go ape shit. But it takes FOREVER for it to load of I get lucky one or 2 videos will play the rest say “something went wrong”

Do you know how to replace to bulb on this? I bought mine last year used it once or twice now it does not want to project. I think the bulb may need to be replaced but I can’t find any content online regarding the matter

There is no bulb it is led so i think you are out of luck

Possibly in complete darkness but I do not think is is bright enough to do much over 120" and look good.

Hi I purchased this projector, took it out of the box, and it won’t turn on. Can you assist me further please? The manual isn’t helpful. I plug the power cord in and all that occurs is a flashing green light. Pressing the power button or even holding the power button on the unit does nothing. Likewise, the remote power button gets no response despite several new batteries. I’m really feeling like I just bought a Chinese lemon 😒Thanks in advance.

not sure mine has a solid red light when off. After you press the power button once it starts flashing red then powers on within 5 seconds.

I am so damn irritated with this device and the customer service. I have an iPad and an iPhone. I bought an HDMI adapter and I bought it to watch movies while camping… so, no Wi-Fi!!!! I download all of my Wi-Fi movie to my device for when I go camping or am on a plane, again because I have no Wi-Fi. Now, I have tried direct wiring connection step by step with the mirroring directions, and it connects and I can get to my downloaded movie, but when I play my downloaded it movie, it just spins…. Spins and spins and spins and spins!!!!!!!! HDMI doesn’t work at all with my IOS devices and their customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE!!!!!!!!! The only way I have been able to actually work is by hooking my fire stick to it directly. Using Wi-Fi.. that I will not have out in the woods when I’m camping. Which is the entire reason I bought this device. Someone, anyone, please help me. I don’t know what I am doing wrong, I have spent hours messing around with this thing. Truly, HOURS!!!! Is it faulty? Do I need to send it back and purchase another? I just need a human to speak with that will help me know what direction to go. This companies customer service, I’m fairly certain is just a computer that keeps sending me the same cookie cutter responses. I have a large birthday camping trip set for the beginning of September and so far, it has only made me frustrated and will only work with Wi-Fi connection. 🥺 Somebody, please, anybody….. Please help…

The only solution is to put the movies on a flash drive. Copy protection does not allow any of these projectors to play from a phone be it direct cast or airplay. A fire stick or crone cast via a hotspot would also work for you.

Thank you by the way, for responding… your message has provided more clear info Thant 2 weeks of back and forth with customer service. Who told me with an HDMI converter I could connect my devices directly to it and it would work…. It didn’t!!

@@keenanjeff I don’t have a laptop. Or a computer. I’m strictly iPhone and IPad. Is there no other way? I see people watching movies while camping on these things all the time. And I have absolutely no problem downloading my movies onto a flash drive, but my movie collection, that is well over 200+ is all digital in my Vudu library. But I am able to download them all to my device. It’s so frustrating that this projector both online and in the manual says I can watch movies through mirroring from all of my iOS devices. And I’m not an IT person. So I’m sure you can imagine how beyond upset I am that I paid $150 for this projector that I can’t watch my movies with, without WiFi. It just about has me in tears.

@@keenanjeff ok, so let me ask you this. My daughter does have a laptop. Am I able to download a movie from her laptop onto a flash drive and just plug that into the projector and have no problems? Because I can do that.
