Old video to respond to, but I have recently returned after almost 20 years. I love my modern stuff (HK Shocker AMP and F1 Force) but I REALLY enjoy getting out there with my 18+ year Autococker. I played mech when Angles and Matrix's were the rave in the early 2000's. Makes the dopamine hit harder.

Excited to be getting mine in. I ordered 2 mech frames to have one as a single trigger electronic and the other as mech. Always wanted a single trigger electronic since I played with one on a viking years ago. Super excited for it. Pretty much tossing the double trigger frame out the window hahaha.

Glad to see you! I will say I shoot an amp and sometimes use the mech frame for like 7, and 3 man. I love having that ability to swap, I did almost consider and etha 3m or emech but I pack light and bring essentials, so being able to throw that frame in my bag is what I love. Yea it may take a couple extra seconds to put the frame on but ultimately you’re gonna get a cvo out if it. Great review man!

​@Paintball Ruined My Life after trying different variations, single electronic is the most fun for me and that's how I have it. Having to change the battery once per day of play is kind of a pain but he mechanical frame feels and looks better and for some reason more engaging. Ive also grinded off that weird nub so it's flat. Feels nice now. Everyone likes a 45 frame.

after watching a whole bunch of vids about this frame, i honestly think the single trigger electronic frame is a good idea. You get all the performance with ramping but with the ergos of a single trigger (more fingers around the frame makes it much nice to control). I do hope more gun manufacturers do this. Ive seen a custom single trigger frame on an axe and it looks amazing

I agree, I would rather have my mech and electrics separate. It's faster to switch and no lost parts while sitting at the field. I do like the DSR though. It is a nice shooter for an electric.

with ramping now days you could use the single electric trigger if you prefer it. A lot people just use one finger anyways idk just trying to make sense why dye came out with an electric single trigger

it makes you wonder why double trigger electric guns still exist. it's really just tradition at this point that goes back to before we had the technology for ramping/full auto. there seems to be this ingrained idea because of that which says your ability to pull a trigger fast is part of the skill of paintball. But it's weird and now we don't even use the double triggers because of ramping, so can we just go to single triggers please?

​@@brianx2504 I mean die just released their gun. I forgot what it was called and stock basic colors are 1700. It's one of the most expensive paintball guns ever released for the stock. Basic colors if you want a special anodized color they go all the way up to 2100 there's way more expensive sports and hobbies than paintball like real gun collecting and fishing and hunting for that matter there's a lot of stuff in the world that is not cheap. Life isn't cheap

9-10 pods and a hopper doesn't blow idk what you're used to buts that's standard to above average efficiency. Seems like someone needs to get out of there Eclipse bubble and do your research. Btw that's without the pro kit. Go watch Punishers Paintball efficiency test with the Mech DSR w/o IM Pro kit and you'll see for yourself. Dont bash a killer product if you don't know what you're talking about.

I love all the talk about return of mech. But there's no return. It's not like all the boat anchor semi's of the mid 90's came back. Now it's how do we make a "mech" gun, but still have it dump 25 bps. If RT triggers are just going to replace the ramp board, what's the point. My electronic guns are now wall hangers, and I don't even want to replace my Automag stainless A.I.R. valve for an X-valve because I'd be part of the point I'm making.

DSR+ efficiency still doo doo. They do shoot great tho
