If you have the amber, and you want to ride the rex before you're the saddle level, then yes! The tannery also makes journeyman level saddles by default, so it'll be a better saddle than you could craft anyway.

yes, if you have the ascendant bow from the dilo quest it is better than a primitive crossbow. the compound bow is more powerful, but can't have tranq arrows equipped

You can feed it undyed potent dust, which will slowly take the dye away. And no, there are no mutations, just wild dinos with cool colors

*CEMENTING PASTE HACK: Make eight stone FENCE foundations and eight stone doorways (Take with you). Doors not Needed! (Or 16 stone fence foundations and 16 doorways if you like). Use the Pteranodon to find where the Beavers Dams are. Lay down the eight stone fence foundations in a square shape. Then place either six stone doorways (leaving two off on the same side) or place seven, but leave one off. Go take a little something from their dam then run into the thing you built. When they follow they they cannot get through the doorways at all and you can run out and then you close them in with the remaining stone doorways. Once trapped, the Beaver will build a new dam within those walls allowing you to take wood, flowers, mushrooms and cementing paste without a fear of being attacked. It takes time for them to activate so once it's trapped go do something and come back after a while. Best to trap more than one Beaver in same trip so the one loose doesn't attack you* 😊

Your trike must be following the other trike, see at your lvl38 and tap the info box on your top of the screen, see if its following your other trike or any other mount. If yes, mount that creature and whistle to 'Stop', then go to your lvl 38 trike, and whistle 'Follow one'. Then only the lvl 38trike will follow you. I had the same problem, my pteranodon kept following my raft😂

They can get there if you breed a lot... if you stack stats you can get dinos up to a level in the 400s. But you won't find a wild one that high on an easy server
