It won’t fade to platinum on its own after a while without using a good color remover or rebleaching. I did this last year and the part of my hair that had the brown basically remains a very dull blonde. Brown semi color conditioners tend to use reds and greens to create the brown and those green tones are basically permanent.

I had a feeling! That's why I mentioned maybe doing a bleach bath eventually after I let it fade a bunch. Thanks for letting me know!

Looks good! I wish you well in the future removal process of this color. My advice would be to NOT bleach it until it has faded the most it can on its own, otherwise you could push the dye further into the cuticle making it almost impossible to get out unless you bleach your hair like 3 times 🫣

I have heard it is a pain to get out and you will have to bleach it out if you want to go platinum again... but it looks amazing on you!

Thanks! I’ve only had it for a week and it’s already lighter and has some blonde coming through so I’m definitely going to let it fade as much as possible and see how it goes. If necessary, apparently color oops works well to remove it!

I watched the video you linked but she didn’t use this exact color and she seemed to be trying to get rid of it in another video only a month later. Even my pastel shades last a month so I’m fully prepared to wait longer for this to fade as much as possible and then take it from there.
