Thank you! I used Dharma dyes - I think they're in CA - great site, lots of colors! I also use Pro Chem!

Really helpful look at your process. I’d love to try pulling sari fabric loops. I have some sari yarn, but found it too inconsistent in width & texture to be any fun to hook with. Thanks again for great guidance!

Great to watch this process. Maybe I missed it, if going in oven, how long do u cook for, or microwave times please Deana. They certainly turned out gorgeous, despite ur deleting video! Maybe an extra glass of orange juice, wink wink will calm you down from breakages! Lol

You got those winks huh! I was pretty close to noon! I put the oven about 280 to 300 for 20 min. When I took casserole out I moved ribbon around with gloves HOT! Abd if any colors peeing off it then pop it back in little higher for 10 more minutes. Sometimes color doesn't soak in 100%. If it seems to be putting up a fight I sprinkle more cutric acid over it when I pop it back in

Do you soak your sari skeins in an acid before hand and that’s why they are wet?

I soak them, before dyeing, in a bath of water with a drop of synthrapol, a detergent that helps with prepping the fabric to take the dye.
