even heroin should be legal but only legally obtainable by signing up to something that monitors your use and step by step gets u off it
@humanbeing90797 жыл бұрын
Alexio Forte it won't work, drugs like heroin are proven scientifically to be highly addictive, if people can't get enough(which they will always be) they will obtain the drugs illegally. While cannabis are not addictive to most people according to many research and is much less harmful to the person using it, while heroin causes irreversable damage and could cause overdose.There's a reason why weed pertically is the subject of legalization and why some drugs should never be.
@bruhmann7197 жыл бұрын
yes jamie but the point is that it would only be legal to be consumed via state programs encouraging steady rehabilitation to those aflicted with addiction. its not a matter of selling it in corner shops more actualy helping the huge numbers of sick people that otherwise would be shooting up homeless with dirty needles while under pressure and prosecution from law enforcement, instead providing a safe clean environment for them to get off the drug.

@johnnybritten87668 жыл бұрын
PrEmIuM PrEmIuM Smoking weed won't cure cancer. Yes cannabinoids have been shown to decrease certain tumours just as they increase others. However the majority of research was on petri dish cultures and you'd have to smoke over 1000 joints a day to reach a blood cannabinoid level sufficient to have any effect on a tumour. I'm not against smoking weed infact I smoke it every day, I just think that many potheads use non related medical excuses to legalise the drug so that they can walk around getting stoned. Im not against new ideas to help cancer patients, but instead of legalising a street drug; wouldn't it be a better idea to use non psychoactive cannabinoids in a pill form? That way a much larger ammount could be injested without any complications from mental health issues.

I broke my ankle at 15, and required surgery for a metal plate and a wheelchair for a few months (not even comparable) which is when I first tried medical cannabis. I was on heavy duty painkillers and my tolerance grew over time. Between my father having a bad history of drug addiction and the pain killers being rough on the liver, after several failed suicide attempts leaving me deeply damaged, I figured I would try it. 6 years later I still use it for coping with PTSD, BPD, MCTD, and many more ailments. Predominantly for severe nausea, every day. It becomes debilitating. Anything that will stop it is a gift. Edit: I'm from California. Nowhere is perfect but amen for medical cannabis (not to judge those who use it recreationally as well.)

@unanonymous46556 жыл бұрын
Jamie Piller But we already have other opium based medications that are much less dangerous than heroin. Also, heroin has a high risk for physical addiction and horrible withdrawal symptoms, not to mention it's easy to overdose on. We tried using morphine in the early 20th century and what ended up happening was people just became hard core addicts.

This was a fairly good video, though I think they did sway as the media usually does a little towards the "drugs are bad" scale. It downplayed to an extent how much evidence we do have around cannabis, how few prosecutions there now are and didn't speak about prominent politicians such as Jeremy Corbyn supporting it being legalised. We know it's almost impossible to be killed by cannabis (seriously, you'd need to consume ridiculous amounts), but the video didn't portray that very well. It gave the drug a very negative light during certain parts, with the dramatic music about how the government has no recognised medicinal benefits for it and the rather leading question - "Are you not, at the end of the day, just a drug dealer?" - and then someone supposedly getting worse from it. However, it did show the incredible benefits the drug has to those in such a terrible position. For that I applaud them.

I agree to an extent with regards to them painting a bad picture regarding the lady phoning him to say that her father has gotten worse with the CBD. However, they did show the guy going to their home, and sending half a gram of it to the lab in Spain, who found that it had less than 1% CBD. Does this not help our case, clearly showing that had the oil been produced in this country, under pharmaceutical conditions, it would have had the correct amount of CBD in there?? I do see what your saying, I can see a different angle to it though.

bigdaz7272 If cannabis was legalised, they're going to be the first to get in on it because of the profits involved.
@bigdaz72727 жыл бұрын
They should get in on it, sell it at Pharmacy's or even dispensaries like Murica ect adding a tax to it like with Beer and rake in Millions every year. However, the Elephant in the room is they make more from Big Pharma who donates to keep it illegal. If they are ever going to be serious about decriminalising Weed they have the perfect opportunity now as just like in Murica the UK is having some serious Opioid problems and a legit alternative for a lot of people is Cannabis, fact.
