I'm max lvl and gold weapons here are lvl 6 is that normal? Including the pyramid blade.

Yeah, apparently you can get level 9 pyramid blade that does like 509 damage but I think you have to Vendor Farm for literal hours

No they haven't it's 1.13+ and still working. I suggest bazaar cause it has 2 vendors. Oh, you don't have to sleep, you can just exit to the main menu and then go back into the game.
